I sometimes imagine that offering my life to God should feel like a big, holy moment.
But most days, my life looks like answering messages,
making plans, listening to someone I love,
and trying to be patient when those plans change.
Paul writes in Romans 12:1, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.” (NIV)
Today, you don’t have to find a different life to offer God.
Bring Him the one you’re living.
Worship Him in it.
Let prayer infuse it.
Receive His grace to live it fully… whatever today brings.
Lord Jesus, I give You today. I give You this ordinary day. Help me love You in it. Help me love the people around me. I invite You into the moments in between. Use me however You want to and may I bring You joy today. Thank You for saving my soul to live my real life with You every day. In Your Powerful Name, Amen.
