Fill Me

The Christian life was never meant to be lived by your own strength.
You are not meant to do it alone.

God has given us His own Spirit.
To guide.
To empower.
To remind you that you are His beloved child.

In Ephesians 5:18 Paul writes, “Be filled with the Spirit.” (NIV)
The verb he used means “keep on being filled.”

Because being filled with the Holy Spirit isn’t a one-time event.

It’s a daily dependence.
It’s moment by moment strength.
It’s God Himself making His home in you.

Every day you need Him.
Every day you have Him.

You need His wisdom.
His strength.
His comfort.
His power to love others well.

Every day is a fresh invitation to say: “Holy Spirit, fill me. ”

Holy Spirit, help me to be aware of Your presence and Your love moving in my and through me. Fill me with Your power. Lead me, strengthen me, and help me reflect Jesus in everything I do. In His powerful Name, Amen.
