God sees what we cannot.
He knows what lies ahead.
His wisdom is greater than ours,
and His love for us never fails.
In Matthew 6:10 Jesus told us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (NIV)
These may be the hardest words Jesus ever taught us to pray.
Why?
Because they require surrender.
We ask God to bless our plans.
This prayer invites us to trust in His plans for us.
And His will is always wiser than our own.
Praying, “Your will be done,” isn’t giving up.
It’s placing your life into the hands of a Father
who knows exactly what He’s doing.
What do you need to surrender to Him today?
Father, today I surrender my plans to You. I surrender my will to You. May Your will be done in my life, and help me rest in the truth that Your ways are always best. In Jesus Powerful Name, Amen.
