Lean On Jesus Today

When the world around you is dripping with unmet expectations, foundation-shaking experiences, and unbearable obligations, you need someone to lean on.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (ESV)

Jesus is inviting you today to “yoke up” with Him and allow Him to shoulder the great weight you are under.

He is imploring you to allow His grace and mercy to fuel your heart and get you through.

With outstretched arms, He extends His love, strength, power and the unhindered relationship He has with God to you.

Jesus is a safe place for your soul to find rest and be refilled.

Let Jesus love you right where you are – especially if you don’t want to be there.

Lay down all your “shoulds” and “wish-I-coulds” and toss off the condemnation that comes with them.

Lean on Jesus and allow His love to heal, guide and help you through this difficult time.

Let Him bear the weight that is too heavy for you.
