Rest Here

“GOD, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.”

Psalm 23:1-3 MSG

When you’re tired, you need to rest.

And yet it seems impossible to rest when life is disrupted with unexpected hardship.

The illusion of control is shattered by sickness, relationship upheaval or financial stress.

But, my friend, you are not alone in any of it, your Savior has the heart of a valiant Shepherd who comes close when you need Him.

Dangers may loom but you have nothing to fear because He is with you.

He guides and provides, shelters and protects, waits and watches over you.

He will lead you to places of peace and settle a divine tranquility within your soul in the midst of the treacherous journey.

You have a guide through the madness of life and His name is Jesus.

He is for you, with you and wants to take care of you.

Rest here, catch your breath and allow Him to lead you in the right direction.

Where is He guiding you today?

What is He asking you to trust Him with?

How will you rest within His care?

I love to hear from you and appreciate every comment!
