“Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.”-Ephesians 3:17, The Passion Translation
What does it mean to use your faith?
Believing that you are loved means you act like it.
It means that you treat yourself and others according to it.
It means you allow God’s love to heal your wounds, release you from resentments and allow you to see yourself as God’s sees you.
God sees you as valuable, worthy, gifted, restored, and empowered to live that way.
Resting in the love of Christ means you no longer waste your energy trying to earn what is already yours.
It means the judgement has been passed and you no longer have to beg the judge for freedom.
You are free to live from a source of eternal love.
God’s eternal love through Jesus Christ to you, for you, in you.
It is yours to work out what this looks like in your life.
One step of faith at a time.
One day at a time.
May the resting place of God’s love for you become the very source and root of who you are and what you do today.
