Don’t you just love a big unveiling?

A new car, a new product, a new vision that will change life as you know it.

Today there is to be a great unveiling with you.

It is the unveiling of the unlimited riches of glory that God has already given you through Jesus.

It is the lavish outpouring of God’s favor upon your life.

It is the glory and favor of God’s limitless love continually filling your soul to the brim until you can’t contain it any longer.

This is the life you and I are called to in Christ.

It is a life of living in unlimited divine love that fills you with supernatural strength and power.

It is yours through Jesus.

All yours.

To live in today.

What Drives Out Fear?

Love does. Perfect love from a sinless Savior who sacrificed Himself so that you could live unhindered by fear and wholly in His love.

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.

‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jesus came to the earth He created for one thing: to perfect love. The word perfect here doesn’t mean flawless, it means complete…completed completeness.

A love that bleed when the lash tore open His back and the splintered wood of the cross dug into it.

A love that persevered through the unendurable physical and spiritual pain of the cross until He could uttered the truth, “it is finished”.

This love has been made completely complete. The debt of sin has been paid and the great chasm between God and man has been crossed.

When fear rises up to dismantle your faith or weave it’s tentacles around your feet to trip you up, You must remember this fact: You have nothing to fear.

Christ took your punishment completely so that you could let His love complete you. It is perfect love and in it you are made whole.

Jesus walked the earth, spoke truth to all who would listen, healed broken bodies and restored broken souls to God. It was His love that breathed life into the first lungs of man and His word that drove the darkness and chaos back before that and it is His love that sets you free to love as freely and completely as you are loved.

What drives fear out?
The love of Jesus.

Hang your hat on it and get down to the business of loving others with the confident abandon that comes with it.

Deep Roots

I pray that today you will throw the door of your life open wide and invite God into every moment. 

I pray that your roots in Christ will run deep and wide. That you are so strongly connected with Jesus that His strong bands of love, loyalty, faithfulness and grace invade every area of your life like the roots of a tree. 

I pray that you will experience this love, His love, that is higher than the highest mountain summit, deeper the deepest cavern of the sea, wider than the expanse of east to west and with a reach long enough to rescue you from the darkest, dingiest place of shame that sin sucks you down to.

I pray that you will have power to truly take hold of God’s all encompassing, crisis surpassing, past erasing, future embracing love. And that when you grasp this, even just a little bit of it, it will give you wings to rise above your circumstances, face the obstacles before you with courage and walk fully in your God given purpose.

“I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love.”
