Cautious Living

When God puts something in your heart,  He has a purpose for it.

He has a purpose for you.

I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.”

“The master was furious. ‘That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to live cautiously like that!”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:25 MSG‬‬

It’s criminal to live cautiously with God-given purpose.

Cautious Living is a crime in God’s eyes.

He loves you passionately and wants you to boldly get to work on the visions, gifts, and callings that He has given you.

You may be asking God to give you more…but He may be asking you, “What are you doing with what I’ve already given you?”

What purpose has God planted in your heart?

What does it look like to multiply what God has invested in you?

Don’t underestimate the impact motivation has on your day.

It is easy to slip into just going through the motions and living your life on auto pilot. When you are tired or drained the simplest tasks can begin to feel like burdens.

God wants more for you.

We justify our actions by appearances; GOD examines our motives. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭2‬ MSG)

God has more for you.

He is the God of the inside workings, the attitude makeovers, the perspective shifter.

He knows that when you are motivated by love- it gives you energy.

And that when you operate out of duty, it drains it.

What’s your motivation?

A better question may be- how is your energy level?

Are you feeling depleted? If so, you are probably operating out of duty.

Ask God to switch the flip from duty to love and experience life in a whole new way.

What I Know

I know that without God, you will experience suffering.

I know that without God when you experience trial, heartache, loss and suffering that it naturally leads to hopelessness, bitterness and overwhelming sadness.

I know that with God, you will experience suffering.

I know that with God when you experience trial, heartache, loss and suffering that He can supernaturally create hope where there was none, thankfulness where there could be bitterness and joy where there could be depression.

With God, the heartache we face can be used to build strength, perseverance and hope in your life.

With God, what has been lost can be redeemed. What has been stolen can be restored. He can cause you to embrace a joy you never knew was possible and walk in a freedom you did not earn.

Suffering is a part of life but with God, it can be used to forge your character and strengthen your faith.

The miracle you get to experience with God is when you can look back upon your life and can be thankful for what He created in you as He walked with you through the trials.

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”(‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭3-4‬ NIV)
