He Stays

One of the most powerful moments you have with Jesus is the moment you realize that He will not give up on you. That no matter how far you run or how broken you feel, He will stay.

He will not give up on you, even if you give up on yourself.

He will not abandon you, even if all others do.

Because your relationship with Him doesn’t depend on your work to “be better” but on His work done at the Cross, He will not fail you.

He forgives.
He pursues.
He heals.

“Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have.

For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”

So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?””
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Don’t look to money to secure your future, it will not stay and will not satisfy.

Look to Jesus.
He is your provider,
your Savior and your Lord.

In the hardest of times and the worst of trials, Jesus will not leave you.

He stays.

A Small Stone

Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground. (1 Samuel 17:49 NIV)

David did not have faith in the small stone he got from his pouch.

He had faith that God could use a small thing to conquer the giant before him.

He believed that God could use a small stone placed in the hand of a young boy to change the momentum of a critical battle.

He believed in God. He fought with faith.

What small thing has God already placed in your hand?

He can use it change the momentum of the great battle you are facing.

Place your faith in God.

Fight with faith.

He will use the small thing in your hand to do the big thing you have been praying for.
