Change Maker

If you want to be a change maker, you have to begin by changing your attitude.

“Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.” (Psalm 116:7 NIV)

The very best way to to change your attitude is gratefulness.

When the world crowds you and makes you feel claustrophobic with all the “things needed ASAP”, it is good to take a moment and remind yourself that the Lord has been good to you.

It resets your perspective and returns your internal state from “fret” to rest.

When your tired and drained you need to rest. Not obsess over things you can’t control anyway. Choose rest and gratefulness.

God has called you to be a change maker where He has placed you.

Don’t let a bad attitude rob you of an opportunity to be used by God today.

Pray With Joy

How often do you pray with joy? Probably not enough.

There is nothing more empowering that the joy that comes from thanking God for who you have in your life. Thanking him for those who walk with you and for those who run along side you sharing the good news of Jesus. Thanking him for allowing you to see the lives that have been touched and transformed by his amazing grace.

Joy is birthed in gratefulness and swells in thanksgiving. Like air filling a ballon, it makes room for faith to fill your heart.

Do your prayers feel heavy? Fill them thanksgiving and be filled with joy.

“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:3-6 NIV)

And by the way, I do thank God for you. Thank you for filling my prayers with such incredible joy!
