You Have What You Need

God has not equipped you to do everything but He has equipped you with everything you need to do His will today.

Wherever you are, with what you are dealing with right now.

God has equipped you for today.

Don’t worry about tomorrow.

Forget about yesterday.

Be fully present today.

“Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:20-21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What has God equipped you with to do His will today?

Learn How To Fight

It is time to learn how to fight right.

It is time to use the right weapons.

Just as an arrow has no impact on a tank or a sword presents no competition to a gun, what you fight with matters. It makes a big difference.

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.”

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world.

On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭3-4‬ NIV)

You can’t fight the spiritual battle you are engaged in with the same weapons the world likes to employ: self-confidence, will power, positive thinking.

None of those actually work but they make people feel better because they have the illusion of being in control.

So how do we fight bravely and fiercely enabled by God’s power?

It is not with the world’s weapons but with God’s ways:

Repentance is a sin breaking, grace receiving lifestyle.

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. (‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬ NIV)

For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. (‭Matthew‬ ‭23‬:‭12‬ NIV)

You are no longer a slave who lives in fear, but a child who has direct access to your Heavenly Father.

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭15‬ NIV)

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. (‭Psalm‬ ‭51‬:‭12‬ NIV)

When you repent, receive and restore in a daily basis you are fighting the good fight, God’s way and laying waste to the enemies’ schemes in your life!

Blessed Fruit

Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. (‭Psalms‬ ‭128‬:‭1-2‬ NKJV)

Blessed fruit comes from strong roots.

When you worship in word, deeds, songs and service, you are blessed.

When you step out in faith and say yes to nudges and promptings of the Holy Spirit, you are blessed.

When you choose to live God’s way instead of your own way or the world’s way, you are blessed.

When you purpose in your heart to be faithful, you are blessed.

When you work hard where you are at, with what God has given you, you are blessed.

Don’t worry about the fruit of your faith, just continue feed the root of it.
