Let Him Love You

The world gives us great lessons on how to fake it until you make it, how to function in dysfunction and how to “live well” while being utterly broken inside.

Jesus offers life lessons in how to “live whole” through our daily relationship with Him.

As you let Him love you, He heals what is broken and restores what has been lost.

Through His love, Jesus works from the inside out.

He teaches you how to live loved.

How to live trusting and trusted.

How to live nurtured and nourished.

How to lead yourself and how to lead others with love.

“The God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus-setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. For there is no difference between us and them in this.”

Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭21‬ MSG

Jesus will not give up on you.

Don’t give up on yourself.

Let go of your fear and lean into His love for you.

Where Your Faith Rests

“So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.”     1 Corinthians 2:5 AMP

When your faith rests in the wisdom of man, it falters because at it’s best, it is a human attempt to explain the divine.

When your faith rests in feelings, it surges and wanes like the waves of the sea.

When your faith rests on experience, it morphs into whatever you are experiencing now, good or bad.

When your faith rests on God’s power, it is the rock upon which the waves of emotion break, the wisdom that confounds the wise and the truth that gives your experience perspective.

Stop worrying about how you feel, what others say or what happened in the past.

Put your faith in God and who He is.

He is bigger than your fears, knows what to do with your worries and is working behind the scenes to bless you.

May today be filled with the promise of His presence and a new level of faith that is not tossed by emotions but anchored in God’s unchanging love.

What do you need to trust Jesus with today?
