Stubborn and Courageous

Motivation quote: “Be stubborn about your goal, and flexible about your methods.” – GnomeAngel.com

Change doesn’t occur without courage.

It takes a special kind of stubbornness to start a new thing in your life and to change the course of it.

It is a stubbornness to keep going against the odds and swim against the current.

Life in Christ means that you are being called upon to be a pioneer. He is calling you to be the first in your family to stay married, to break the cycle of unhealthy habits or to break the cycle of emotional or physical abuse.

But you need to stick it out, staying with God’s plan so you’ll be there for the promised completion. It won’t be long now, he’s on the way; he’ll show up most any minute. But anyone who is right with me thrives on loyal trust; if he cuts and runs, I won’t be very happy. But we’re not quitters who lose out. Oh, no! We’ll stay with it and survive, trusting all the way.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:32-39‬ ‭MSG‬‬

God is asking you to be a change-maker and to be stubborn about it.

Be stubborn about your goals but flexible about your methods.

Jesus never did the same miracle twice.

Each one was different and unique.

Be creative, use what God has given you and fight for change.

Change worth having is worth fighting for.

Go ahead – be stubborn and courageous today.

“Make the most of every opportunity. Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out.”

Colossians‬ ‭4‬:‭5-6‬ MSG

Every conversation you have today is an opportunity to love.

To give grace room to heal.

You have permission to:

reach out,

extend grace,

do the extraordinary thing,

go the extra mile,

be wise and

be intentional with your words.

Be obedient to the little nudges from the Holy Spirit, especially the ones that push you outside your comfort zone.

God has put you where you are for a reason.

Be brave and seize every opportunity Jesus brings you today. It may make more of a difference in someone’s life than you can possibly imagine.

If Jesus brings you to it, do it.
