“Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him.”

Philippians‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NLT

At the end of your life, you may or may not have human praise but if you have gone after a real relationship with Jesus, you will have so much more than that.

Don’t waste your life by pursuing goals to make yourself more comfortable, live the life you were created for by pursuing the goal of knowing Jesus.

Not just to know about Him but to know Him in every area of your life.

Not just to work for Him but to work with Him.

Keep this goal as the top priority and all the other goals will quickly fall into their proper perspective.

Knowing Jesus means you will have rich relationships, miraculous moments, great faith adventures as well as the single most important thing you can have with you as you step into eternity – Jesus Himself.

The Wonder of Worship

Because God is glorious, He can use authentic praise uttered by the weakest of us to establish a stronghold against the enemy.

Because God is awesome, He can use the weakest vessels to silence the strongest foes.

Your praise will shatter strongholds and your worship unleashes God’s glory in your life.

Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. (‭Psalm‬ ‭8‬:‭2‬ NIV)

It doesn’t matter if the praise comes from the mouth of a child or is expressed by one who whispers in wonder at the beauty of a butterfly.

To worship the Creator is to fill your soul with life. To praise the Almighty is to wage war against fear.

Your words become weapons in the hands of a Mighty God. It does not matter who you are or how you see yourself. You are His child.

Don’t focus on the battle, focus on the praise.

Don’t focus on the warfare, focus on the worship.

Lose yourself in the wonder of His presence and let God fight your battles today.
