Don’t Wait For Someday

“I am writing to all who have been called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ.”‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Today you don’t have to strive to take care of “number one”, you are in the care of Jesus.

Today you don’t have to stress to win the approval of others, you are accepted by Jesus.

Today you are called by the God who loves you to come near.

You don’t have to wait until tomorrow.

You don’t have to wait until someday when you are good enough or until you get your life altogether or until you “get better” at whatever you are trying to get better at.

Don’t wait, live in the truth of God’s love for you today.

Be Loved

You are loved.

You are loved every day of your life and will be loved every day until your death and then beyond into eternity.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

You Are Loved.

Because of the cross, nothing can separate from the love of your Heavenly Father and therefore nothing should separate you from it.

Not fear.

Not shame.

Not worry.

All of these were taken and paid for by Jesus so that you can live in the glorious freedom of being a cherished child of God.

Nothing to prove.

Nothing to fear.

Nothing to lose.

You can experience your life like a child who feels safe and secure: explore, enjoy and play.

So explore.

Enjoy.

Play.

Beloved, live loved today.

Life With God

live-your-life-to-the-fullest-quote-1-picture-quote-1

There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds.

Matthew 6:25, 26 MSG

Life with God is about love, risk, adventure, faith, serving, giving, and enjoying.

Life with God is about being filled with His love and mercy every day and then pouring out on all those around you.

Life with God is about worshipping Him when we wake, when we walk, when we clean, when we work, when we eat, when we get dressed.

Life with God is about knowing that you are saved by grace and reconciled to Him because of the sacrifice of Jesus.

Life with God is about knowing that He loves you because you are His kid and He enjoys spending time with you.

You are a child of God who is cherished, chosen and provided for.

Live in the freedom of His love.

Live care-less in the care of God.

Live more in this truth and less in the lie that you are valued because of what you look like, eat, wear or do.

Jesus has made a way so you can experience far more than that.

This life, this love, this security comes from Him and is unshakable.

The rest is frosting.

Be Loved

One of the most amazing things about receiving God’s love (and I mean really receiving it- taking it in, letting it sink into your soul, walking in the truth of it, living loved – not abandoned) is that it gives you courage.

Courage to step out of your comfort zones.

Courage to change your language, the way you talk to yourself and others.

Courage to not give in to old habits, coping mechanisms or escape tactics.

Courage to face your feelings and your issues. Deal with them honesty and work through them because you are loved– completely, unconditionally and fearlessly.

When you grasp this, even just a bit of it, you will begin love others fearlessly and let go of fear for yourself.

You begin to stop focusing on yourself and focus on others instead. You make decisions according to fearless love instead of fearful self-centered love.

You will give more than you get and find that you have more to give than you ever imagined.

“My dear children, let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice real love. This is the only way we’ll know we’re living truly, living in God’s reality.

It’s also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.”

1 John 3:18-20 MSG

Be loved fearlessly by God and begin to love others fearlessly. That is when you are truly living in God’s reality.

Why would you want to be anywhere else?
