Awareness

“But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:11 MSG‬‬

If you are aware of anything today – be aware of God.

If you are afraid of anything – be afraid of getting so busy making a living that you miss making a life.

If you have to make a do to list – put living in the joy of the Lord #1.

Take care of what you need to take care of today but make room for God to interrupt, intervene and weave His perspective into each thing you must do.

Are you so busy that you are oblivious to God?

What does being aware of God’s presence mean to you?

How can you make that happen?

May the awareness of God supersede all else as you are embraced by a Savior who loves you unconditionally and completely.

If you are aware of anything today – be aware of God.
If you are afraid of anything – be afraid of getting so busy making a living that you miss living your life.
If you have to make a do to list – put living in the joy of the Lord #1.
“But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:11 MSG‬‬
Take care of what you need to take care of today and give God your worry about the future.
Be available for God to interrupt your anxiety and intervene your moments of worry with an awareness of overwhelming grace. Let Him weave His perspective into everything you must do.
Are you so busy that you are missing your moments with God?

How does being aware of God’s presence impact your day?
May the awareness of God supersede all else today and my prayer for you is that you will be filled with the peace of Jesus that passes all understanding.

Take care of what you need to take care of today but make room for God to interrupt, intervene and weave His perspective into each thing you must do.

Are you so busy that you are missing God?

Are you working for God or working with God?

How will being aware of God’s presence impact you today?

May the awareness of God supercede all else and may you be filled with the peace that passes understanding lead by a Savior who loves you unconditionally and completely.

Your Inner Selfie

Pride lands you flat on your face; humility prepares you for honors. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭29‬:‭23‬ MSG)

At times, it is so obvious. It rises up powerfully and demands self protection.

At times, it is not so obvious. It cloaks itself in sadness and encourages self obsession.

Whether obvious or subtle, pride always centers around self. It is always about you. It is your inner selfie demanding attention, protection, preservation.

The problem with pride is that it can not distinguish between truth and lies. It will fiercely protect whatever it knows even if all it knows is wrong.

The only thing to do with pride is to confess it and ask God to forgive it.

Ask for God’s help today to change your inner selfie and transform it into an inner awareness of His love, His grace and His goodness in your life.

When that happens, humility is born.
