Faith is…

Faith is not a feeling.

Faith is a choice.

It is a choice to believe something that leads to doing something.

To trust God with the impossible.

To put actions to your words.

Dear friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything?”

James 2:14 NLT

If God is asking you to do it, He has already given what you need for it.

He has already equipped you for it.

“Faith is taking the first step before you know what the second step is.”

– Joyce Meyers

God is bigger than your fear and has a purpose for your faith.

He needs you to be who He has called you to be and do what He has asked you to do.

It isn’t about you, it is about who your obedience will impact.

It is time to put your faith into action.

What is the thing that faith is prompting and fear is resisting?

What is God challenging you to do today?

Reward

Well-spoken words bring satisfaction; well-done work has its own reward.
‭Proverbs‬ ‭12‬:‭14‬ MSG

Don’t let a situation dictate your reaction.

You choose your words.

You choose how you work.

You can’t always choose what you do but you can always choose how you act doing it.

Before your day even begins, get with God and choose together how you will react to the wide world you live in.

Action Needed

You don’t have to have the whole plan, see the whole picture or even walk with God for a long time to implement what He has shown you.

“But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action.”
(James 1:25 MSG)

Even a glimpse of what God wants for your life can be powerful enough to start an avalanche of transformation.

Action trumps intention every time.

Intentions do not lead to freedom, actions do.

Intentions do not bring joy and blessings, actions do.

Intention does nothing for you or those around you.

Do one thing.

Make that one phone call.

Ask that one person for forgiveness.

Give that small gift.

Speak the truth…in love.

It doesn’t have to be big, it just has to be done.

Change

Prayer changes your atmosphere.

Prayer changes your attitude.

Prayer changes your actions.

Prayer changes you.

“Are you hurting? Pray.

Do you feel great? Sing.

Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master.

Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven—healed inside and out.

Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed.

The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.

(‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭13-18‬ MSG)

The most powerful thing in your life is prayer.

It is the catalyst for all change in your life.

Pray whenever you can,
for whatever you can,
and for as long as you can.

Pray
