God never asks us to figure life out on our own.
He delights in leading those who are willing to learn.
A teachable heart is a growing heart.
But when we humbly invite God to teach us,
He shapes our thoughts, our character,
and our decisions through His Word and His Spirit.
Psalms 25:4-5 says, “Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” (NIV)
The moment we think we have all the answers, we stop growing.
Some of the most powerful prayers are also the simplest.
“Lord, teach me.”
Teach me to love.
Teach me to forgive.
Teach me to trust.
Teach me to follow You.
No matter how long you’ve followed Jesus,
there is always more to learn about His heart.
Never stop being His student.
Lord Jesus, teach me today. Open my heart to Your truth, guide my steps, and help me become more like You. In Your Name, Amen.
