Sometimes the greatest obstacle to what God wants to do next
is our attachment to what He did before.
We replay old victories.
We grieve old losses.
We long for familiar seasons.
Meanwhile, God is inviting us to look up
and see the new thing He is doing.
God is a God of fresh beginnings.
The challenge is that new things often require new faith.
We rarely get the full picture before taking the first step.
If you’ve been struggling to move forward,
ask God to help you release the past
and recognize His work in the present.
You don’t have to live looking backward
when God is calling you forward.
