Following Jesus is more than avoiding the wrong road.
It’s learning to walk the right one.
Every day God invites us to take another step with Him,
one decision, one act of obedience, one moment of trust at a time.
In Psalms 139:24 David prays, “See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (NIV)
The phrase “offensive way” refers to anything that grieves God’s heart.
Sinful attitudes, pride, unforgiveness, selfishness.
Because it is not enough to identify what is wrong,
we need God to lead us to the right way.
David doesn’t just ask for self-examination,
he asks for transformation.
He asks for a new way to live,
a way that will be everlasting.
That’s the path of life.
The path of peace.
The path of walking closely with God everyday.
Invite God to speak to the parts of you that need attention.
Let His grace unveil the truth.
Let His love guide you to freedom.
You will receive His healing.
Ask Him into the places you have been ignoring.
And be free indeed.
