Sometimes we become experts at hiding from others,
from ourselves, and even from God.
We excuse attitudes.
We ignore wounds.
We bury fears beneath busy schedules and smiling faces.
But healing begins when we stop pretending.
In Psalms 139:2 says, “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” (NIV)
It’s one thing to know that God sees everything about us.
It’s another thing to invite Him to.
And David specifically asks God to reveal his anxious thoughts.
The worries, fears, and inner struggles that quietly
shape his decisions and steal his peace.
God’s examination is not to condemn us but to free us.
The more honest we are with God,
the more room He has to heal,
restore, and transform us.
His love is healing.
His presence reveals mercy.
His power sets you free from what is holding you back.
Invite God in, pour out your heart and be healed.
