Have you ever wondered what God thinks about you?
It’s easy to get distracted by wondering what other people think about us.
Their perceptions, approval or disapproval of us.
We replay conversations, analyze comments,
and wonder if we measured up.
Psalms 139:17 says, “How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!” (NIV)
King David points us in a different direction.
He reminds us that God’s thoughts toward us are precious.
Not only does God think about you but His thoughts are filled with love.
His thoughts are filled with the delight and joy you bring Him.
He knows every worry, fear and struggle you are dealing with.
Friend, you are not forgotten, overlooked, or insignificant to God.
You are precious in His sight.
He sees every detail of your life and holds it all in His hands.
Today, instead of dwelling on the opinions of others, turn your mind to God.
Take a moment to rest in His love and listen to the thoughts of the One who loves you most.
