There are seasons when life feels light and hopeful.
And there are seasons that feel dark, lonely, and heavy.
Sometimes they are the same season.
But God does not only meet us in the high moments of life.
He is also present in the depths.
Psalms 139:8 says, “If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.” (NIV)
Friend, God is with you on the mountaintops and in the valleys.
Whether you heart rises to the heavens
or lies down in the depths, God is with you.
He is near when your heart is breaking.
Near when you feel exhausted.
Near when you are struggling to hope again.
God is here too.
Paul echoed this truth in Romans 8:38-39, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (ESV)
Not your lowest moment or your biggest struggle
can separate you from His love and presence.
No matter what you are facing today,
you are not alone.
He is with you, even in this.
