He Is Close

Sometimes we can feel like we have to hold everything together alone.
We move through busy schedules carrying silent burdens,
hoping we’re strong enough to keep going.
But God is closely acquainted with every step of our journey.

David wrote in Psalms 139, “You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.” (NIV)

God is not distant from your daily life.
He sees your “going out” – the responsibilities,
conversations, errands, work,
ministry, and moments where you
pour yourself out for others.

And He sees your “lying down,”  the exhaustion,
the quiet moments, the tears,
the thoughts that surface when the day finally slows down.

Nothing about your life is unnoticed by Him.
He knows where you’ve been.
He knows what you’re carrying.
He knows the habits, struggles, victories,
and prayers hidden deep in your heart.

And here’s the beautiful part:
His familiarity with your life
does not push Him away from you, it draws Him closer.

God doesn’t love a polished version of you.
He loves the real you.

And He walks with you in every ordinary
and overwhelming moment alike.
