With Us

Jesus is God with us.

Isaiah 7:14 declares the promise, “All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).”  (NLT)

Jesus is the fulfillment of this prophecy, He is Immanuel: God with us. Jesus is the Second Person of the Trinity, eternal, all-powerful and came to earth to bring heaven to humanity. He is the babe in the manger and the risen Savor who loves you so much that He didn’t want heaven without you.

Jesus is with you right now, His Spirit walking with you as you navigate the complicated season of Christmas and whatever emotions that get stirred up by it.

You are not alone today. Maybe you are quietly carrying sorrow within because Christmas reminds you of someone you have lost. Maybe you feel disconnected from the joyous celebration around you.

Let Jesus come close.

Let Him walk with you as you walk with others.

Let His grace carry you when you are tired, lean on His strength when you feel weak, as you are surrounded by the tender mercies of God Himself.

My friend, may the awe-inspiring reality this Christmas strengthen you to rise up to the challenges before you with the assurance that you are not alone to face them.

God is with you.
