The pressure in your life right now is no joke.
It is intense and I want to encourage you to not give up.
There is a way for you to acknowledge the great pressure you are feeling and live through it.
The Apostle Paul admonished the early Christ followers in Romans 12:12 who were being intensely persecuted to, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” (NIV)
The word “affliction” means intense pressure.
When the pressure of life gets intense, we are all tempted to give up, give in and go back to our own bad coping mechanisms created in the past.
What can you do when you are under pressure?
Don’t quit.
Keep moving forward.
Spend more time in the presence of God than in the presence of fear.
Spend your energy pursuing hope and leave the outcome to God.
Yes, the pressure in your life is a lot right now but you are not alone to bear it, God is with you, Jesus walks beside you and His Spirit is within you.
Hold on to Him, lean on Him and pursue the hope only He can bring you.
Remember, you are deeply loved and never alone.
