Jesus experienced the love of God every moment of every day with nothing hindering it. It fed His purpose, His mission and His everyday life.
That doesn’t mean His life was without pain or trial. On the contrary, the life of Jesus was full of pain, fear, anger and loss. He wept. He yelled. He made people angry.
Yet, He lived loved.
Through every moment Jesus knew He was loved and provided for. He received God’s love without reserve. Then Jesus fully offered Himself as a sacrifice so that we could experience this amazing eternal truth through Him.
Jesus told His disciples this in John 15:9, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.” (ESV)
My friend, when you abide in the love of Jesus, you are abiding in the love of the Father.
Jesus loves you with the same generous, strong, real, glorious love that the Father loves Him with.
In Christ, you are God’s beloved and cherished child.
That doesn’t mean your life will be easy and without pain. It means that in the midst of it all, God’s love for you is without question. It is in the hard times, stressful situations, and overwhelming trials that you need to be nourished by God’s love for you.
God’s love doesn’t change towards us according to what is happening to us. It is the fuel that gets us through it all.
Every day, you are meant to draw from the well of God’s love.
Each moment of your life you are loved by Him.
Every single one.
Friend, may the unrelenting love of God the Father nourish your hungry soul with the truth that you are not forgotten or forsaken because you are fully and eternally loved.
