The same God who set the sun with enough energy to burn as long as it must has given you everything you need to accomplish what He has called you to do.
In his letter to the churches in and around Ephesus, the Apostle Paul reminded them that, “grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” 4:7 (ESV)
Don’t worry about running out of grace, for you are not the keeper of it.
You are the receiver of it.
All Jesus asks of you is to trust Him.
Lean on Him.
Rest in Him and His work on the cross for you.
So today, don’t hold back God’s grace for yourself or for others.
Don’t portion it out.
You do have time.
You do have strength.
You are able because you are fueled by the amazing grace and love of God in Christ in everything you do today.
Hebrews 4:16 reminds us to “approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (NIV)
Jesus is our High Priest, became the sacrifice for our redemption, invites us to rest in the work He did for us, and therefore, we rest in the grace and mercy we need to boldly approach His throne and receive what we need from Him every day.
What do you need God’s grace for today?
