In a relationship, lip service does no one any good.
Not in your relationship with Jesus, yourself or anyone else.
Ephesians 4:25 tells us, “So discard every form of dishonesty and lying so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another.” (TPT)
It is better to be honest with what is going on and how you are feeling.
That is the only way any relationship thrives.
Do you feel stuck or numb in your relationship with Jesus?
Be honest with Him about where you are and how you are feeling.
Be honest about what is going on in your heart.
You don’t need flowery words or religious words.
Just be honest.
No lip service needed to access the heart of God and His love for you.
