How often do we cling to what we think we know?
1 Corinthians 13:9-10 tells us that, “Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away.” (TPT)
We strive for understanding, chase wisdom, and hold tightly to our spiritual insights. But this verse reminds us of something humbling yet beautiful: everything we know, everything we speak, everything we do, is just a glimpse of something far greater.
Our knowledge and gifts are precious, but they’re incomplete.
Like puzzle pieces scattered across a table, they give us glimpses of the full picture, but never the whole story. Each piece is a part of God’s love but one day we will experience the whole picture of it.
When love’s perfection arrives, when we are fully reconciled to God’s heart, the “partial” will no longer matter because we will live in the fullness of His love.
This truth calls us to a powerful shift in how we live. Instead of relying on what we know or the gifts we hold, we are invited to focus on God’s love for us and in us.
It’s hard to comprehend because we live in a world where love can be temporary, partial, fading and lost.
God’s love is eternal.
It is complete.
It is the one thing that will never fail or fade.
Ask God to help you center your life on His love for you.
For in the end, it won’t be our knowledge or gifts that define us, but the way we are loved by God and the way we love others with it.

Good afternoon beloved family, thank you pastor Cindy for this devotional this morning. As always, when I read these during my days, it really helps me everyday when I stop and read them. Thank you pastor Cindy. I miss you my beloved sisters in Jesus Christ.
