It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of the world’s agenda.
It’s easy to give in to the incessant fears that demand constant comparison with others, one up-man-ship and always having to look out for number one.
It’s natural to depend on yourself instead of trusting God.
My friend, you don’t have to look out for “number one” today.
You are the apple of God’s eye.
He loves you beyond reason and proved it on the cross.
James 4:7-8 says to “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” (ESV)
So when the world gets loud, and you are tempted to submit to the world’s ways, run into God’s arms.
Rest there.
Submit to Him.
Submit to His ways.
Rest in His powerful love.
Resist the lies and the devil will flee.
Draw close to the Father.
Ask for help to be free of living by the world’s values and He will set you free to live everyday as the valued, loved, accepted child of God that you are.
