Quiet Strength is the inner strength that no one sees.
A strength that gets up when it is tired.
Does the right thing when it doesn’t feel like it.
Holds on when it wants to let go.
Pushes through when it would be easier to quit.
It isn’t pretty or soft.
It is quietly determined and infused with a healthy stubbornness.
My friend, your life requires strength.
This kind of strength.
You can’t do it without Jesus and He doesn’t ask you to.
It’s His strength wrapped around you when you need it.
Colossians 3:12 in The Message version describes it like this, “So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline.”
Don’t give up, don’t give in when God is asking you to keep going.
Lean on Jesus and be adorned with His quiet, strong, stubborn, overcoming, strength today.

So true!
Reminds me of the Beloved message you did (2 years ago?)! I can picture putting on these clothes! And you throwing out the clothing that hid your identity. I’m such a visual learner and this verse really comes to life more through the imagery of what I’m putting on and taking off each day!
