After wrestling with difficult questions about Israel, salvation, mercy, and God’s plan, Paul ends Romans 11 with worship. He wrote in Romans 11:33, “Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!” (NIV)
Paul does not tie every mystery into a neat little bow. Instead, he acknowledges that God’s wisdom is deeper than human understanding and His ways are beyond our ability to fully understand.
There will be times when you do not understand what God is doing. You may wonder why He has not answered your prayer the way you hoped, why a particular door closed, or why His timing is taking so long.
Faith does not require you to pretend that you understand.
Faith invites you to trust the One who does.
You can bring God your questions and still worship Him.
You can admit your confusion and still believe He is good.
Peace does not come from knowing all the answers.
True peace comes from trusting the One who does.
You don’t have to understand everything to trust God.
What mystery do you need to surrender?
How will you worship the King of kings and Lord of lords today?
Father, Your wisdom is greater than mine. When I cannot understand Your ways, help me trust Your heart. I surrender my questions to You and choose to worship You today. In Jesus Powerful Name, Amen.
