Never Put to Shame

When we place our faith in Jesus, our identity is no longer built of what we have done or what has been done to us.
Our identity is secured in what Jesus has done for us.

Romans 10:11 says that, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (NIV)

Shame tells us to hide.
It whispers that our past has disqualified us.
Our failures have defined us.
And if people really knew us, they would turn away.

But Jesus does not use shame to change us.
He transforms us with His grace and love.

You may still remember your past,
but your past no longer gets to name you.

You are forgiven.
You are accepted.
You are loved.
You belong to God.

Shame says, “Hide.”
Grace says, “Come close.”

Because of Jesus, lift your head today and live loved.

Lord Jesus, thank You that my past does not define me. Help me reject the voice of shame and believe what You say about me. I am forgiven, accepted, and loved. In Your Powerful Name, Amen.
