Confess, Believe, Receive

The message of salvation is wonderfully simple: confess, believe, and receive.

Paul writes in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Confess that Jesus is Lord.
Believe that He died and rose again.
Receive the gift of salvation that He freely offers.

That doesn’t mean following Jesus will always be easy,
but it does mean we don’t have to earn our place in God’s family.

Salvation is not a reward for good behavior.
It is a gift of grace received through faith.

Jesus didn’t come to make bad people behave better.
He came to bring spiritually dead people to life.

You don’t have to clean yourself up before coming to Him.

Come as you are.
Believe in who He is.
Allow His grace to transform you from the inside out.

Lord Jesus, I confess that You are Lord. I believe You died and rose again for me. Thank You for the gift of salvation and for making me new. Transform my mind, renew my heart and fill my life with your grace. In Your Powerful Name, Amen.
