We often ask God for the strength to change our circumstances.
But sometimes God gives us the strength to remain faithful within them.
In Colossians 1:11 Paul prays that we would be, “strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience.” (NIV)
Here Paul connects God’s power with endurance and patience.
That may not sound dramatic, but it is evidence of God’s mighty work in us.
It takes His strength to keep trusting when answers are slow.
To keep loving when relationships are difficult.
To keep showing up when progress seems invisible.
To keep believing when life has not gone according to plan.
God’s power is not only seen when the obstacle moves.
Sometimes it is seen when you keep going inspite of it.
Don’t give up.
You may feel tired today, but you are not walking in your strength alone.
God will give you the endurance to faithfully walk the road in front of you.
Lord, strengthen me with Your power today. Give me patience while I wait and endurance when I feel tired. Help me remain faithful one step at a time. In Jesus Powerful Name, Amen.
