Sometimes we wish God would simply hand us a detailed plan for our lives.
Tell me where to go.
Tell me what to do.
Tell me how everything will turn out.
But knowing God’s will is not only about receiving directions,
it is about becoming the kind of person who
recognizes His voice and follows His ways.
Colossians 1:9–10 records Paul’s prayer for believers, “We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way.” (NIV)
The more we know God,
the more His heart begins to shape our choices,
our relationships, and our responses.
You don’t need to understand the entire plan today.
Ask God for the wisdom and understanding to take the next faithful step.
Father, fill me with Your wisdom and help me recognize Your will. Show me how to live today in wisdom and understanding. Help me to reflect Your heart to those around me and make You proud. In Jesus Powerful Name, Amen.
