Beyond Measure

You can know the words “God loves me” and still live afraid that you are not enough.

You can quote Scriptures about love and still wonder whether God has grown tired of you.

Jesus wants His love to move from something you know in your head to something that fills your heart with truth.

He wants to transform the way you live.

Paul prayed that we would grasp the immeasurable dimensions of Christ’s love.

Ephesians 3:17–19 says, “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (NIV)

How wide is it?
Wide enough to include you.

How long is it?
Long enough to reach into every season of your life.

How high is it?
High enough to lift you out of shame and remind you who you are.

How deep is it?
Deep enough to meet you in your darkest pain.

The love of Jesus is greater than your mistakes,
stronger than your fears, and deeper than your wounds.

Paul wasn’t praying that we would simply know about this love,
he prayed that we would experience it.

His prayer is that you would live in it.
That it would surpasses knowledge and be your experience.

You may never fully comprehend the love of Jesus.
But you are empowered by Him to live every day filled by it.

Lord Jesus, help me experience how wide, long, high, and deep Your love is for me. Let Your love move beyond something I know in my head into a truth that fills my heart and transforms the way I live. In Your Powerful Name, Amen.
