Prayer isn’t wishful thinking.
It’s an invitation to partner with what God is doing.
Throughout Scripture we see God respond to prayer.
He comforts.
He heals.
He provides.
He gives wisdom.
He opens doors.
He changes hearts.
James 5:16 reminds us, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (NIV)
Sometimes God changes our circumstances.
Sometimes He changes us.
Often, He does both.
Either way, prayer is never wasted.
Every prayer is heard by a loving Father who cares deeply for His children.
So what do you need to place into His hands today?
Father, strengthen my faith to believe that You hear every prayer and that You are always at work, even when I can’t yet see it. In Jesus Name, Amen.
