If anyone could have skipped prayer, it was Jesus.
Yet Mark 1:35 tells us, “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” (NIV)
Jesus, the Son of God, made time to be with His Father.
Prayer wasn’t another task to check off His list.
It was the rhythm that sustained His life and ministry.
Before major decisions…
After busy days…
Before the cross…
Jesus prayed.
If prayer was essential for Jesus,
it’s essential for you and me too.
Prayer isn’t meant to become another obligation.
It’s where your soul catches its breath.
It’s where you find strength, hope, wisdom,
and peace for whatever lies ahead.
