Everyone wants peace, and most of us look for it in the wrong places.
We think peace will come when the situation improves,
when the problem is solved,
or when the uncertainty disappears.
Yet God’s peace is not dependent on our circumstances.
It is rooted in our trust.
Isaiah 26: 3 tells us that peace comes when our minds are fixed on God. He writes, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (NIV)
The more we focus on His faithfulness instead of our fears,
the more we experience His peace.
This doesn’t mean life suddenly becomes easy.
It means we are no longer carrying life’s burdens alone.
Peace is not the absence of trouble.
It is the presence of God in the middle of it.
Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (NIV)
