Sometimes we think we have wandered too far.
Too far emotionally.
Too far spiritually.
Too far from who we used to be.
But God’s presence reaches farther than our fears.
You cannot outrun His grace.
You cannot travel beyond His love.
No distance is too great for the love of God.
Psalms 139 9-10 says, “If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,” (NIV)
Here David imagines traveling as far as possible
and declares that even there God is present with us.
Whether you are starting over, carrying regret,
or searching for direction, God is still reaching toward you.
No matter how far you go or how far you feel,
God is near today.
