Have you ever laid your head down at night
and your body is exhausted,
but your mind won’t stop?
The to-do lists.
The conversations.
The worries about tomorrow.
Solomon called it “anxious striving.”
It’s the kind of striving that keeps your
soul running
even when your body is still.
He wrote in Ecclesiastes 2:22–23, “What do people get for all the toil and anxious striving with which they labor under the sun? All their days their work is grief and pain; even at night their minds do not rest.” (NIV)
But God never designed you to live that way.
You were not created to carry everything.
You were not meant to solve everything.
You were not built to hold the weight of the world.
There is an invitation waiting for you,
bought by the blood of the Lamb
and offered by His resurrected Hand.
To release what you’re holding
and rest in the One who holds you.
Friend, you don’t have to figure it all out
before you fall asleep.
You can trust God with what’s unfinished.
He is still working even while you rest.
