Stepping out in faith is scary.
There’s something about the unknown that makes our hearts hesitate.
What if it doesn’t work out?
What if I’m not ready?
What if I fail?
As Joshua prepared to step into the Promised Land we read what God spoke to him in Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (NIV)
And before Joshua ever took a step forward,
God spoke this truth over him:
Be strong.
Be courageous.
Don’t be afraid.
Why?
Because God was going with him.
In Christ, that same promise is true for you.
You are not stepping out alone.
You are not figuring it out by yourself.
You are not walking into uncertainty without covering.
You are walking with God.
The courage you need doesn’t come from having all the answers,
it comes from knowing Who is with you.
