The law showed us what was right but it couldn’t change our hearts.
It could point out the problem, but it couldn’t fix it.
So God did what we could never do on our own.
He sent Jesus.
Not just to forgive you but to fulfill what you couldn’t.
Not just to cover sin but to change your life from the inside out.
This means your relationship with God is no longer built on trying harder, it’s built on what Jesus has already done.
And now, through the Spirit, you are empowered to live new.
You are now empowered to live loved.
Live forgiven.
Live free to receive all God has for you starting now.

I have recently found so much freedom in knowing this and living it! Receiving this love everyday, living in light of what Jesus has done, and knowing I have nothing to prove … I can actually breathe easier! I am learning to live each day with God and be his child, doing what he sets before me. I do fall back into my “overthinking mode” but I am really working on giving that to God in prayer, in the moment.
