Strong Enough

Most of us spend a lot of our lives trying to be strong enough.
Strong enough to handle the pressure.
Strong enough to overcome our struggles.
Strong enough to fix what feels broken inside us.

But sooner or later, we all reach a moment where our strength runs out.
We realize we can’t control or fix everything.
And that we certainly can’t transform our own hearts by sheer determination.

That moment can feel discouraging.

But in reality that moment is the starting line of something beautiful.
The fuel of our new life in Christ in not our strength but God’s grace.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV)

What feels like the end of your strength may actually be the beginning of deeper dependence on God.
That is where real transformation begins and you realize that you can’t save or transform yourself.
You are God’s and He does the work you can’t do.

When your strength reaches its limit, God’s grace steps in. His grace meets you in your weakness, lifts you when you are weary, and carries you when you cannot carry yourself.

Friend, you don’t have to be strong enough for everything.
God’s grace already is.
