David dared to ask for the unthinkable:
Total acquittal.
Bold reprieve.
Complete forgiveness.
Psalms 25:11 says, “For the sake of your name, Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.” (NIV)
He wasn’t pretending to be perfect.
He wasn’t asking because he deserved it.
He was asking because he knew who God was.
Even though he was innocent of what others accused him of, David came before the Lord fully aware of his own failures.
He didn’t make excuses.
He made a request: a clean slate.
And friend, you can do the same.
The most powerful moment of your life is the one when you realize this:
You can be fully forgiven.
Not because you’ve earned it but because Jesus already paid for it.
He carried the full weight of your sin so you could walk in the fullness of His grace.
So today, dare to believe it.
Dare to ask boldly.
Dare to live like you’re truly forgiven.
Not for your sake.
Not because you feel worthy.
But for the sake of His name.
Live loved.
Live forgiven.
Live free.
