Not all the ways of the world are loving.
Not all the ways of people are faithful.
But all the ways of the Lord are both.
Psalms 25:10 says, “All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.” (NIV)
All. The. Ways.
Even the ones you don’t understand.
Even the ones that hurt.
Even the ones that feel like detours or delays.
Because no matter what you’re going through, God walks with you through it.
He doesn’t wait for it to be over, He meets you in it.
And in every season, His love holds steady. His faithfulness shows up.
The Hebrew word for “loving” here is hesed—a rich, deep word that means steadfast love, mercy, and providence. It’s the kind of love that doesn’t give up, that carves beauty from brokenness, that makes a way where there seems to be none.
The word for “faithful” is emet—it means truth, certainty,
trustworthiness.
This is who God is.
This is how He leads.
You can be certain that every path He takes with you—whether through pain or peace—is marked by His love and His faithfulness.
The Apostle Paul reminded a persecuted church of the same truth in Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (NIV)
