How To Find the Right Way

When I was younger, I believed there would come a day when I’d finally have it all together.
No more worry. No more fear. I imagined myself as a not-so-old version of Mother Teresa—kind, wise, unshakably serene.

But the older I get, the more clearly I see the truth: I miss the mark. Often.
I’m beautifully and undeniably human—flawed, fragile, and in desperate need of grace.

And yet, that truth doesn’t crush me.
It frees me.

Because the foundation of my relationship with God has never been my perfection—it has always been His.

It’s not about how close I can get to Him through striving,
but how close He came to me through the cross.

The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:21 that, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (NIV)

This is the miracle I live in every day.
Because of Jesus, I stand in right relationship with God.
Not by achievement, but by grace.

And now?
Now I get to walk with Him.
Step by step,
mistake by mistake,
moment by moment.

Psalms 25:8 declares the truth, “Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.”
 (NIV)

He doesn’t wait for me to figure it all out.
He teaches me with kindness.
He guides me with mercy.
He leads me on His path, not because I’m good, but because He is.

So, my friend, if today feels heavy, if you’re aware of all the ways you don’t measure up,
 lift your eyes.

God isn’t looking at you with disappointment.
He’s looking at you with love.
Turn your heart toward Him.
Feel His gaze—gentle and steady—upon you.

And let Him teach you the way forward.
