Before the clock turns,
before the fireworks go off,
before you start planning what’s next—
pause.
Just for a moment.
Breathe deep.
Be still.
And look back.
Not with regret.
Not with comparison.
But with gratitude.
What has God done in you, through you or for you this last year?
Even if the year held heartache,
even if things didn’t go as planned—
you’re still here.
Still held.
Still loved.
Look back in gratitude and ask God to help you remember:
The unexpected blessings,
the quiet miracles,
the prayers answered.
Psalms 107:1 says,“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (NIV)
What has God done in you, through you and for you this year?
Give gratitude room.
Not because everything was perfect— but because God was present in it all.
